Submit appropriate tickets for problem resolution.\n*Provide regular updates around scheduled and unscheduled downtime to leadership.\n*Develop and provide metrics to validate up time SLA\u2019s are met.\n*Define and develop processes to proactively monitor systems and notify the Infrastructure team and users of issues.\n*Review and sign-off on regular Acxiom security audits for all Servers.\n*Assist in the preparation for and participate in any corporate, customer or industry security audits.\n*Define and ensure the implementation of proper backup rules on assets to protect all production solutions and data.\n*Submit tickets to have restores performed as needed for the team or customer.\n*Troubleshoot any issues with the regular backups for systems.\n*Manage backups to contractual retention requirements for the customer. Ensure data is removed / tapes scratched in accordance with retention policy.\n*Submit tickets as needed to add or modify existing firewall rules.\n*Engage in and coordinate the research needed if network throughput issues are identified. Coordinate with hardware and systems support teams any necessary changes.\n*Work with hardware and systems support teams to coordinate all changes to the firewall hardware.\n*Participate in regular meetings with the Change management team. Provide feedback and status as needed for infrastructure components of scheduled changes.\n*Provide general user support for the rest of the team.\n*Develop and maintain a complete inventory of all users defined to each system and their respective group assignments. \n*Manage the addition of new users and removal of retired users from the systems.\n*Manage password reset requests for Acxiom or client resources\n*Develop and maintain a complete inventory of all client specific hardware to include servers, tape devices, DASD and network switches and routers. Inventory to include component name, serial number, service date, data center location, primary use, OS with version, application software installed.\n*Stay abreast of software releases for all system software. Schedule software updates as necessary. Coordinate downtime with the appropriate teams and the customer. Includes Operating systems, tools, RDBMS, etc. Examples include SAS, SyncSort, Oracle, XMedic, FTP. Does not include solution specific applications such as NextGen, processing scripts, Orbiter flows, etc.\n*Manage installation of new hardware for the solution. To include:\n*Submission of hardware and software quote requests\n*Submission of appropriate business cases for procurement\n*Coordination with Technology Acquisitions team\n*Coordination of installation and setup of new equipment with appropriate support organizations. Submit CASD tickets and necessary and monitor completion.\n*Coordinate testing of new assets with client Testing resources\n*Coordinate the decommissioning and removal of older equipment as necessary.\n\n\n\nMUST HAVE SKILLS:\n\n*Command line usage of Unix / Linux, Shell Scripting, Cron\n*Monitoing tools - Usage, Setup, Install\n*Establishing, monitoring and enforcing Archival policies and backup proceedures\n*Implementation and maintainance of envioronment Security Policy and proceedures\n*User Access Administration\n*Network Protocols\n*Firewall rules and maintenance\n*Abilty to provide technical leadership to the component team.
