Title: Systems Engineer / Architect
Location: Arkansas-Conway
We are looking for a knowledgeable team player with a strong security background. Candidate must possess a strong attention to detail, thorough understanding of networking; and be a logical thinker. Position would be to protect the network integrity of Acxiom and its IT outsourcing client environments. This is an exciting, fast paced environment with numerous opportunities to take part in a variety of security designs on many different vendor platforms. Working on Acxiom internal and external customer firewalls will challenge your engineering and design skills are you up to the challenge?
Position Summary:
Design, propose, & implement secured network environments
Configure, install, and troubleshoot Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, and Crossbeam solutions
Plan and implement software and hardware upgrades and migrations
Troubleshooting of IP network communications
Diagnose problems with firewalls, IPS, & proxy devices involved
Interface with vendors, clients and users to design security solutions
Skills Required:
Knowledge of IP protocols
Candidate should possess 5 years of relevant experience with Checkpoint solutions or other security vendor.
Typically requires BS/BA or equivalent.
Unix command line experience
Strong communication skills
Must be comfortable in presenting both details to technical teams as well as business impact and risk analysis to leadership
Skills Desired:
Checkpoint CCSE, Cisco CCSP, Crossbeam XOS, or Juniper JNCIS certification
Any information security certifications (CISSP, CISM, GSEC, SSCP, Security , etc )
Experience with Checkpoint Secure Platform & UTM appliances
Unix shell scripting and PERL experience
Windows and/or Unix network application troubleshooting experience
Security/Network Disaster Recovery experience
Experience troubleshooting applications with a network sniffer
Contingency Planning
Good documentation and process diagramming skills
Unix administration skills
Network security forensic skills / certifications
Vulnerability assessment & remediation knowledge
Ethical hacking or penetration testing skills
